EUGENE, Ore. – This year promises to be the greatest single season of track and field ever staged at historic Hayward Field.
Given the rich tradition of TrackTown USA, that’s a mouthful.
However, the upcoming outdoor season will be anchored by two fantastic events  ̶  the IAAF World Junior Championships, making its U.S. debut, July 22-27, and the always exciting NCAA Championships, which begin an eight-year run at Hayward Field, June 11-14.
So, don’t delay in making sure you have good seats for those events.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Go online togoducks.com/tracktickets for one-stop shopping and a seating chart of Hayward Field.
“We’ve never had a track and field season quite like this before,” said Vin Lananna, UO associate athletic director of Olympic Development and TrackTown USA president.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for our community to come together and show the rest of the world how we welcome and support athletes from around the globe in the place that is known as the spiritual home of the sport in the U.S.”
For the IAAF World Junior Championships, all-session passes and weekend passports will be the first ticket packages on sale.
