The University of Oregon continues to get all its Ducks in a row as it readies for the major renovation of Hayward Field that will begin next summer.
A committee of the UO Board of Trustees is expected to authorize President Michael Schill on Thursday to enter into an agreement to allow the nonprofit UO Foundation to manage the privately funded project that will expand the venue’s seating capacity to up to 30,000.
Hayward Field is slated to host major track and field events over the next six years, capped by the World Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2021.
