HAYS, Kan. (October 10, 2015) – With 70 points the fourth-ranked Adams State University men's cross country program claimed their third team title on Saturday at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open.
With a total time of 2:04.16 the Grizzlies edged out rival Western State Colorado University by four points. Leading the way were Dominic Cabada in fourth place and Sydney Gidabuday in sixth. Cabada's collegiate-best mark of 24:11.7 translated to a 4:52.1 average mile pace. The senior finished 31 seconds behind the individual winner. Gidabuday crossed in 24:31.1 en route to placing sixth. Gidabuday took seventh at the FHSU Tiger Open in 2014.
