CUNYAC's fall season came to an end with a group of postseason events that highlighted the best in the conference. The NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament saw Baruch fall 2-0 to #11 nationally-ranked Brandeis University. On the ECAC side, Brooklyn fell in penalty kicks to NJCU 4-3 while CSI pulled off a huge upset in the first round against Rutgers-Newark as they advanced on penalty kicks 5-4. In the semifinals, they fell to NYU 2-0 on two late goals. In women's volleyball, Baruch went to the NCAA tournament but fell to one of last year's final four, Eastern University, in three sets. Hunter College fell to Rutgers-Camden over four sets in the ECAC tournament. For women's soccer, CCNY fell 6-0 to the #13 nationally-ranked College of New Jersey as they became the first NCAA Automatic Qualifier in conference history. At the ECAC level, CSI fell to Mount Saint Mary 9-1. For cross country, Hunter and CCNY sent both squads to the regional NCAA where CUNYAC's individual champions John Aiken and Lizzy Mahoney paced topped the conference's competitors. The ECAC event featured just the Beavers as Avert Sternglass and Sarah Salazar took the top CCNY spots. Read the full article at: www.cunyathletics.com
