Arkansas and Texas A&M Lead Pre-Season Dual Meet Rankings In the initial collegiate indoor dual meet team rankings, the men are led by Arkansas and the women are led by Texas A&M
Men
The Razorbacks won their first full-season national dual meet title last May and remain at the #1 spot, but they have a big showdown with #2 Texas on Friday night. Texas A&M, last year’s indoor champions, start at #3.
The top ten:
1. Arkansas
2. Texas
3. Texas A&M
4. Texas Tech
5. Nebraska
6. LSU
7. Eastern Michigan
8. Akron
9. Kent State
10. Purdue
Women
The Aggies, last year’s runners-up, are the initial leaders here while defending champions LSU are third. #2 Texas meets #4 Arkansas on Friday night, the first women’s matchup in a previously men-only series.
The top ten:

5. Notre Dame
6. North Carolina

Regional rankings were released yesterday at DailyRelay.com. National rankings will be expanded to twenty teams for both men and women beginning next week.
Teams are ranked according to wins and losses, strength and depth of schedule, and strength and breadth of marks. To be ranked, a team must compete in at least one dual (defined as a scored meet between four or fewer teams) during the indoor season.
