FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU track and field program returns to competition Saturday at the New Mexico Invitational in Albuquerque.

It will be the third indoor meet of the season for the Horned Frogs. The New Mexico Invitational features a strong field that includes national powers Arizona State, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame and UCLA. Live scoring is available at www.liverunningresults.com.

Lorraine Ugen, last year's NCAA outdoor champion in the long jump, will make her season debut for the Horned Frogs. The TCU men will be led by the mile relay team of Joshua WashingtonRonnie BakerHarvey McSwain and Narada Jackson. The group is currently ranked third in the NCAA and world with their time of 3.06.

For TCU head coach Darryl Anderson, Saturday's New Mexico Invitational will serve as his unofficial start to the indoor season.

"The first meet (Texas A&M Reveille Invitational) we had in December was more of a fun thing to let the kids use it as an evaluation for how successful their fall training had been," Anderson said. "We then took four weeks off for Christmas break before returning to Texas A&M. In that meet, you take ownership of your personal training over the break.
