Beverley De Grasse told CBCSports.ca that the world bronze medallist is not in final negotiations with a shoe company. A Canadian Press report claims Andre De Grasse would remain in school at the University of Southern California, but will forgo his senior NCAA season of eligibility. "Andre is still a full-time USC student," said Beverley De Grasse. "He is not a professional. He is not even signed to an agent. If the source isn't my son or myself, then all it is is speculation." De Grasse is coming off a memorable season. He burst on to the national stage by winning both the 100 and 200 metres at the NCAA championships and the Pan American Games in Toronto.
