NEW ORLEANS – A heavy weekend of competition has yielded several changes to the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings for NCAA Division I cross country. The regional rankers from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) have moved women’s teams Cornell (Northeast), William and Mary (Southeast), and Arizona (West) to No. 1 spots. In addition, Eastern Kentucky’s men are now the new top team in the Southeast region.

Current No. 1 teams by region as selected by regional representatives: Wisconsin (Great Lakes), Princeton (Mid-Atlantic), Oklahoma State (Midwest), BYU (Mountain), Iona (Northeast), Florida State (South), Texas (South Central), Eastern Kentucky (Southeast), Portland (West). NCAA Division I Regional Championships will be held on Friday, November 9. NCAA DI Regional Championships Central .

USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning team strength with current-season results in determining predicted team finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships.
