[Women's Track] Concordia Women's Track Adds Highly Sought out Recruit, Joy OrrPublished by
The Cardinals' Women's Track Team added a highly sought out recruit for their 2011-12 campaign. The Cardinals signed Hartford High School's four time varsity track and field letter winner, Joy Orr. Joy is the daughter of James and Denise Orr. Ms. Orr was not only exceptional on the field but also in the classroom as she will be graduating with High Honors from Hartford HS. While at Hartford Joy participated in the Hartford Indian Emerald Vanguard Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pit Band, Track and Field, Cross Country, Science Olympiad, and am a member of the National Honors Society. At Concordia Joy plans on majoring in Music Education with and English minor. Coach Montgomery said this about Joy. "Joy brings with her a lot of different talents that CUAA will greatly benefit from. We are extremely excited to have her."
