Jaqua Captures Second HAAC HonorPublished by
 BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After leading her team to a second-place finish at the Emporia State University Planet Sub Invite last Friday, Baker University’s Lauren Jaqua earned this Week’s Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award. For the second time this season the junior from Lansing, Kan., captured this award after she claimed fifth-place overall with a time of 18:28 over the 5K course, which lowered her best time of the season by 13 seconds and was just 19 seconds off the school record that she owns. The weekly award winner will represent the HAAC in consideration for the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award, which will be announced on Tuesday afternoons. -BAKER-
