[Indoor Track & Field] Race Walking Titles Up for Grabs at NAIA Indoor Track & Field ...Published by
GENEVA, Ohio -- Six Lindsey Wilson College student-athletes have qualified for the 2011 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships set to take place on March 3-5 at the GaREAT Sports Complex in Geneva, Ohio. Five of the Blue Raiders' six entries are competing in the 3,000-meter race walk with sophomore's Ricardo and Roberto Vergara competing in the men's rave and seniors Megan Furnish and Chelsea Conway and freshman Reini Brickson competing in the women's race. Ricardo Vergara enters the championships with the highest national seed as his top time of 13 minutes and 14.81 seconds this season in the third best time in the field.
