[Women's Cross Country] Lady Cads 2011 Season Comes to a Close at WHAC ChampionshipPublished by

(Grand Rapids, MI) - The Lady Cardinals ran in the WHAC Championship Meet, held at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day for a meet and the Cardinals ran well in their last meet of the season.
The Lady Cards number one runner for the day was sophomore, Molly Rathje, completing the 5000 meter course in a PR (personal record) time of 22:18.5. Kicking it in to the finish, closely behind Rathje was senior, Jeni Bollenbacher, with her second best time of the season, 22:20.2. "Molly and Jeni both had great races today," said Coach Steve Montgomery. "I know they both had a strong desire to run their best today, and they both came through and did just that.
