[Women's Indoor Track & Field] KCAC Track and Field Indoor Championships

KCAC to Provide Live Updates of Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 9th & 10th

Wichita, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is set to host its first Indoor Track & Field Championship this weekend on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11.  The meet will be held inside the Heskett Centerat Wichita State University and will include 19 events over the two days of competition.

Meet results will be available online during both days of competition. If you are unable to make it to Wichita for the Inaugural event, you can follow the live updating at: http://j.mp/KCACindoor. Photos of medal winners and other award recipients along with other news and updates will be available through the KCAC's twitter feed throughout the event.

The Meet starts Friday (Feb 10th) at 4:00 p.m. with Long Jump, Weight Throw, and Pole Vault.  Followed by 4 x 800 Relay at 7:00 and 5000M run at 7:30.

Field events resume at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 11th) with Shot Put, Triple Jump, and High Jump. Track events pick back up at 2:00 p.m. with the Distance Medley Relay and are scheduled to end at 6:10 p.m. with the 4 x 400 Relay.

Fans can gain entry to the event each day 30 minutes prior to the first event listed. Single day admittance prices are $8 for adults, $5 for senior (55 and up), $3 for students (with valid student ID), and children under 5 will be admitted free of charge. NAIA membership passes are the only free-entry passes that will be accepted.

Performance lists for the event are available through TFRRS here. Following the KCAC championship are the 47th Men'sand 32nd Women'sNAIA Indoor Track & Field Championship. Both will be held March 1-3 at the SPIREin Geneva, Ohio.
