[Men's Track & Field] Four Jimmies Earn Scholar-Athlete AwardsPublished by
Four Jamestown College Men's Track student-athletes were recently announced as 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winners. The award winners are listed here: David Londe (Junior, Cheyenne, WY) Scott Roemmich (Junior, Bottineau, ND) Ryan Benke (Junior, Jamestown, ND) William Swanson (Junior, Jamestown, ND) A list of other men's track award winners in the history of Jamestown College can be found on the men's track & field page under "Post-Season Honors: Men's Track." Here is a link: Men's Track & Field: Post-Season Honors The NAIA announced that 243 men's track & field student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
