The Jimmie Men's track team hosted the Al Cassell Relays … at Valley City State's track. The temperature was in the low 50's and the wind gusted to 23 mph during the meet, but the University of Jamestown, coached by Ed Crawford, had some good results. The competition was good with athletes from the University of Mary, Concordia-Moorhead, MSU-Moorhead, Northern State, Saskatoon Track Club, Valley City State and some unattached athletes. Highlights for the Jimmies included Nathan Willer's NAIA National Qualifying discus throw, and Kaleb Garcia winning both hurdle races. Garrett Tenney also was strong again in the throwing events.
