The University at Albany athletes competing in the NCAA East Preliminary Championships did not see any of their teammates compete on Friday, day two of the meet, because no UAlbany athletes were entered in Friday events. Three of the six athletes who made the trip would compete on Saturday, the final day of competition. Senior Kathryn Fanning, who ran the 1,500 on Thursday would compete in the next round of the event on Saturday, while junior Alexander Bowen and freshman Nathan Hiett would compete in the men's high jump and pole vault, respectively.
