Busby Advances, Grace and Neu Nab All-American HonorsPublished by
 EUGENE, Oregon— Bobby Grace and Connor Neu of Youngstown State and Durell Busby of Milwaukee competed in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, with Busby advancing to Saturday's finals in the 110-meter hurdles. Busby took part in the first heat of three on Thursday afternoon. The senior placed fourth in his heat and eighth overall with a time of 13.75 seconds. The top two finishers in each heat plus the next best two times advanced to Saturday’s finals, with Busby grabbing the last spot. In 2012, Busby finished 12th overall in the event at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Wayne Davis II of Texas A&M placed first with a time of 13.36 seconds. The 110-meter hurdle final is set for Saturday at 6:12 p.m. ET on ESPNU. Grace capped a strong career with a 14th-place finish in the shot put on Wednesday and earned Second-Team All-American honors. Competing in the second flight, Grace opened with a throw of 19.03 meters. His second attempt came in at 18.97 meters before his third and final throw of 19.14 meters was his scored attempt. Grace, who finished third at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, owns the best finish in school history at the outdoor event. Of the 24 athletes, the top nine finishers after the completion of flight action advanced to the final round. Texas thrower Ryan Crouser won with a toss of 21.12 meters. On Thursday afternoon, Neu concluded his first season with the Penguins placing 15th out of 24 participants in the hammer throw to earn Second-Team All-American honors. Neu, who competed in the first flight, opened with a throw of 59.93 meters. In his second toss, he marked a throw of 63.61 meters. Neu fouled on his third and final attempt. The Ohio native, who transferred from the University of Kentucky, qualified for nationals after setting a school record as a sophomore with a throw of 66.19 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminaries in Jacksonville, Fla., on May 30.
