[Women's Track] Women's Cross and Track Announce the Signing of Georgia Runner Sidney BosleyPublished by
(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia women's track and cross country teams are pleased to announce the signing of Sidney Bosley from Creekview High School in Canton, Georgia. For Creekview's track team Sidney runs the 400m (64.9), the 800m (2:30) and the Steeplechase (9:11). Sidney not only excels on the track but also is a fine student. While at CUAA she plans on studying Biology. When asked why Concordia? Sidney replied, "I choose Concordia University because of my Lutheran faith. I also like the idea of a small student to faculty ratio and I found the city of Ann Arbor to be a perfect college town. I have been very impressed with Coach LaBrosse and am excited to have his expertise in coaching and be a part of this team. The admissions office also helped in my decision with their welcoming guidance throughout the college application process." Sidney is the first athlete Head Coach Jamie LaBrosse has signed since coming to Concordia. LaBrosse stated that "I'm really excited to help Sidney take her training to the next level. With hard work I think Sidney can be a major force in the WHAC Conference and at the National Level. She has a lot of range and is very motivated to compete."
