Both the Arkansas men and women should easily take this region and are expected to not push their athletes to dominate the way they could. The #3 Arkansas women have performed very well this year with a solid top three and will run as a pack to try and easily qualify for the NCAA championships. #29 Texas A&M women will try to hld off the competition to get the only other likely berth from this region. The men of #9 Arkansas will have a tougher challenge from #25 Texas as the Longhorns will likely run better at a longer distance.
